Heads of State began with a vision of becoming a head shop like no other in 1976. The owner and founder, started with nothing but a folding table and acrylic water pipes at the Mile High Flea market. In 1979, after working the flea market and 3 jobs, he finally had enough money to open his first store in a 10ftx10ft space on the corner of 44th avenue and Federal boulevard, where it remains today as a staple in the Denver community, surrounding neighborhood and states. After expanding his merchandise to include a wide variety of distinctive brands and unique gifts, he moved the business around the corner into its current location. With the success of his first store, Heads of State soon opened another location currently in Lakewood, Colorado.

Today, Heads of State stands strong in this fast paced, ever changing industry, with no plans of going anywhere. Our employees strive to have the highest level of knowledge possible, while providing the best customer service available. Providing customers with the most unique items and superior smoking accessories, efficiency continues to be the goal of Heads of State. The selection is like no other in the city.
