Our juices are all made here in the USA, Virginia, to be more specific. The ingredients are; Propylene Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerine (VG) and natural and artificial flavoring. Our standard mixture is approximately 50/50 PG/VG.
We worked very hard and took our time to define each recipe so that we could promote each flavors' individual strengths and weaknesses. To gain the best vapor production and throat hit we used the best ratio of recipe ingredients available.
If you are sensitive to PG, please let us know in the comments section and we will provide you with a natural juice with negligible amounts of PG. However, please be aware that the concentrated flavors we use for our recipes do contain PG and so right now we can not offer 100% PG free e-liquid.
Diacetyl, Acetyl Propionyl and Acetoin - We are aware of the concerns faced with diacetyl. We do not have any flavors containing diacetyl and will not add any. Mom and Pop will always disclose any dangers we are aware of. Apparently this subject has come up again (9/14) and I just want everyone to know that we were aware of this when we started our company and continue to be careful not to purchase any custard flavors so that we don't run into issues with diacetyl. Here is a great article and if you are worried about health affects, do the taste test recommended for yourself, I did!! Diacetyl Information. Another interesting article from the CDC discusses Diacetyl on Page 10 .
Most E-Cigs are made up of three parts; a battery, an atomizer and a cartridge to hold the e-juice. When looking for an e-cig you want to consider how long you want your battery to last by asking yourself some questions:
If you don't have a power source and will use it often you are going to want to choose an e-cigarette with a bigger battery. The e-cigs that look similar to a cigarette have small batteries and need to be re-charged more regularly. I have found they are said to last an hour or more but I found mine to only last 20-45 minutes of actual use (this doesn't count the time that you are not "puffing" on it).
How often you use it is very individual but I have found that once your taste buds return use is pleasant and therefore can be heavy especially in the beginning as it is different from a traditional cigarette and you seem to feel the need to use it often.
Other than the battery size, in my opinion, you can't go wrong with your choice of e-cigarette. These are not a disposable. They should last at least 100 re-charges.
E-cigarettes produce a vapor which is not water and not smoke. The best way I can think to describe it is that it is like what comes out of a fog machine. It has no unpleasant smell and most people claim they cannot smell the vapor at all. It will not smell up your house, your hair, your clothes or your car. As a smoker, that was one of the worst things about smoking as I am sure you would agree. Also, there is no tar and none of the effects of combustion that are present in traditional cigarettes.
E-juice or e-liquid, nic juice, etc. is the liquid which contains nicotine that you use in your electronic cigarette. The basic ingredients include; propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), nicotine and flavoring. There are other ingredients in individual recipes, usually in very small amounts but the ingredients above are basically in all e-juice that contains nicotine. However, this brings us to the discussion regarding PG. If you look at the ingredients listed on most common items in your kitchen you will find propylene glycol listed. This is an ingredient we have been ingesting for a long time with no effects. However, when people started inhaling PG they found they had some sensitivity with it. If you are one of those people, you can request a VG based product. Luckily, in most cases, the effects of PG sensitivity have been merely bothersome such as a sore throat, dryness, upset stomach.
I do hope either you have, or you will make the decision to try e-cigarettes and when you do, that you will try our e-juice and become part of our vaping family.
We only sell equipment that we use and we approve of. There are many items that we could be selling but we try every new item that we can and if we like it, we sell it, if we don't, we don't sell it. That way, if you need help, it is something we are familiar with and can assist you with any issues you might have.
